The edition of the Carnival of Gualeguaychú started yet in this year 2012.

Every Saturday of the months of January and February and March first takes place this holiday that is recognized internationally.

In this year 2012 will have the presence of the groups Mari Mari, who was winning in 2011, Slips and O’Bahia. These two compete for first place showing the quality of their costumes, choreography and the deployment of floats that represent the topics chosen by the directors.

Carnival already has over twenty years experience and is considered one of the carnivals in the world along with the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and Venice.

This Saturday January 28 at 22hs in Gualeguaychú Corsódromo will be taking out the fourth night of this important carnival that takes place in the Argentine coast.

To reach Gualeguaychú from Uruguay can be reached through the Libertador San Martín International Bridge that connects the city with the town of Fray Bentos.

From Buenos Aires there are several bus companies that depart from the Retiro and the trip is 3 hours.

The ticket prices are 90 dollars for the fourth night of January and the lowest paid 20 pesos. In February and March prices are 100 pesos and 20 minors.
These prices correspond to the general entries.
The sectors with the chairs have a price ranging from 20 to 75 pesos and the industry vip prices are from 280 to 700 pesos.

The Gualeguaychú Corsódromo is located on the street Piccini and Ayacucho.
